The K series models (“K” stands for “konzentrieren” concentrate) are designed to concentrate a product as far as possible and to a said density.
The residues (the concentrate) are removed either manually or by a pump controlled by a density metre, timer or Pressostat.

  Components in contact with the product made of V4A (material No. 1.4404), otherwise of V2A (material No. 1.4301)

Like the “K” series, but with the components in contact with the product made of Titanium, Hastelloy, Incoloy etc. (depending on application), and thus suitable for the concentration of particularly aggressive products such as chromic acid, hydrofluoric acid, mixed acids, etc. The boiling chamber can be coated with Halar, Levasint, Teflon or Abcite.
The various functions are the same as for the K series models.

  Inner lining (coating) using corrosion-resistant materials
  The selection of materials in contact with the product is specically based on the application.

The T series models (“T” stands for “trocken”- dry) are designed to reduce a product to a sludgy consistency.
The front can be fully raised to permit simple removal of the dry substance (liquid concentrate is drained off via a connection piece with valve).
The degree of concentration is regulated by timer or Pressostat.

Like the T series, but with a heating surface either in the form of a heating jacket or a coil. Combined with a mixer/scraper whose function is to keep the heat exchanger permanently clean as far as possible. Concentrate is removed through a flap in the floor; the mixer assists the removal.

FEATURES:

The features of the T series plus the following:
  The installed mixer/scraper keeps the heating surface of the heat exchanger permanently clean, which means that greater concentrations of uniform consistency can be achived.
  The version with coil instead of heating jacket permits energy cunsumption of only approx. 100 W/l instead of approx. 200 W/l (depending on system size)
  On request, automatic emptying by means of a motorised floor flap is available
  Non-stick and corrosion-proof coatings (Teflon, Halar…) are also available.

 Specific equipment:

  Automatic concentrate removal system (concent-rate pump)
  Circulation system using by-pass valves, only in combination with concentrate pump
  For the evaporation of particularly foaming products, it is possible to install a “distillate trap ” to separate  the distillate cycle   from the  vacuum cycle
  Heating and cooling coils can be dismantled without loss of refrigerant
  Condensators are water cooled, not air cooled
  Pneumatic and not magnetic valves
  CFC-free refrigerant instead of R22
  If available on site: heating and cooling using warm water (W/S series – without heat pump) – see photo alongside. This reduces electricity consumption to 10 W/l
  Switching cabinet with synoptic display and/or SPS controls
  Other materials in contact with the product can be subblied, as can special coatings
  The equipment can be individually painted (specify RAL-color)
